Love Is...

"When life's journey here is ended, and earth's path no more be trod,
May their names, in gold be written, 'longside the autograph of God."

Someone made "just one more remark" about normal one day, which gave me an idea...

I wanted to know if Normal even exists in America... So I looked it up at Yahoo! Maps, and my conclusion is this... Normal...
is east of the Mississippi. ;-)

Love  Cor 13:4-13                                        mypuplerose
(from my only rose bush, which just died)

4. Love is patient, love is kind, and is not jealous, love does not brag and is not arrogant,
5. does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek it's own, is not provoked, and does not take into account a wrong suffered,
6. does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;
7. bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8. Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophesy, they will be done away; if there are tongues they will cease; if there is knowledge it will be done away.
9. For we know in part, and we prophesy in part;
10. but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away.
11. When I was a child, I used to speak as a child, think as a child, reason as a child; when I became a man, I did away with childish things.
12. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I shall know fully just as also I have been fully known.
13. But now abide Faith, Hope, and Love, these three;

but the greatest of these is Love.

Someone else's words I found on the Internet,
but they could have just as easily come from my heart.

I feel that too many people get married with the idea or thought in their head that “oh well, if it doesn’t work out, we’ll just get divorced”…

That is not the mind set that I think people should have when they are about to embark on a new life, a union with another human being, where two will become as one .

About to make such a huge commitment, maybe that is just it; to most it isn’t such a huge commitment after all, if it is being entered in that frame of mind.  I believe that this is more so in the US as well.

I truly believe that there has to be someone in this world, somewhere, some how, that feels the same way as I do about two people sharing a life together.

 I want to share everything and anything with someone who cares and someone who, along with me, brings synergy to our relationship.

Someone to talk about hopes and dreams and goals... and someone to work with together in realizing them...

Someone to share  the downs as well as the ups in life... and someone who you know you can always count on being there with you, together, to live through them...

Someone to share laughter with and learn with and someone who knows me, for who I am, someone who knows the real me, every part of me, intimately, totally.

But most of all love... real love.

Someone who truly understands that love has no boundaries, is unconditional and that it can, and it does last forever.

And that love, this true and special love, can be felt deep in your heart just by a look from across a room from that someone whom you share all of this with…

  To be continued…
